I have a Viper, but I keep hearing that Clifford is a good alarm to go with, however a little pricey.

I have had Viper and Clifford, the Clifford system was much better, some of that was the installer, but I keep seeing the Clifford name on more high end cars.

They are the same company DEI, But the different sub brands have different features. It's one large companies way to be able to sell to multiple shops in one area without causing conflict between the shops.

I'm planning on purchasing a Clifford MAtrix 3.5. This alarm features remote start and includes LCD screen controller. I'm not stopping there either, I will get modules for automatic windows, tilt sensor module (alarm will go off if thief tries to lift your car/ wheels), auxillery backup battery module which guarantees your alarm will stay on if thief cuts alarm, extra horn inside which will create hell for anybody who wishes to sit inside your vehicle attemping to burglarize, and sound module for window vibration. Total package retails around $600, with my friend giving me employee discount at Best Buys, I'm hoping to cop package for $400. Install usually cost hundreds, but friend offered to do for $200, which is pretty good deal. :lildevil:
