OCESCALADE 05-10-05, 06:08 PM You have got to be kidding... pimp-cadi-danny 05-10-05, 06:18 PM i'm not kiddin at all from a performance point of view, drop in the cts-v drive train,i dont know bout your escalade but mine is pretty damn fast,i tear up mustangs all the time...i love it...a 6speed would kick ass especially top end slk230mb 05-10-05, 06:46 PM From a performance POV maybe, from a practicality POV, there is absolutely no point. hcvone 05-10-05, 06:55 PM Think of the clutch you would need due to the weight of the truck, and believe me I am all for stick shifts, all 11 of my Corvettes were sticks, but a good automatic will beat a stick shift in a drag race everyday, but the stick would be more fun to drive, althogh I would not want to shift gears in my Escalade, of course for the right price anything can be done. :) pimp-cadi-danny 05-10-05, 07:06 PM my point exactly fast66 05-10-05, 09:32 PM YOu are crazy. It would cost too much and wouldnt ever work right. Not worth it for the cash, my opinion. OCESCALADE 05-10-05, 09:58 PM And were would you put it? You would hack the whole center council unles you wanted to go on the tree. I think a good shift kit would be a better deal. I own a cobra with a 6 speed and thats were it should stay. The escalade is a different platform with a diiferent design goal. It is not a racecar. Lade 05-11-05, 06:37 AM Its better to put your money into a SC/all the other normal mods that have proved to be efficient...a Manual in an Escalade is a joke. However...I did smoke a base model Lexus IS last week...the guy was asking for it. We were both surprised at the outcome. @hcvone Nice choice with the new aluminum XJ...so classy IMO. I sold my XK Jag a while back...still miss the fit and finish.:coolgleam cy hcvone 05-11-05, 08:36 AM Its better to put your money into a SC/all the other normal mods that have proved to be efficient...a Manual in an Escalade is a joke. Talk about a big boat!
