.... but I can't get the power trunk to close. The receiver on the bottom is not entending up. I've had this ongoing issue (months) where it takes a few tries to get it to come up but last night nothing. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated???

probably a better spot to post would have been the forum for your type of cadillac, but since your here i would start thinking

well the motor could be bad, bad ground, bad wire somewhere, bad switch that actuates the assembly, if you havent already i would start by pulling the carpet away and looking for the obvious and go from there
