Hey there gang, just wanted to say "HI". Not new to forums as I rebuild/restore older vehicles, but new to this one. I have been around Cads all my life and just trying to find the right one for me. I have a few in the cross-hairs, but we'll see what happens when the trigger is pulled.

Welcome Mike!

Thanks for joining the forum. We wouldn't be caddy fanatics if we didn't have one or two in the crosshairs at all times...ahhh so many choices! Most of my favorites are from the late fifties to early seventies. I can't make up my mind!? Good luck in your search. I've included a link that has good baseline info on caddies (VIN decode, etc): http://100megsfree4.com/cadillac/

Thanks all, much appreciated. I am currently shopping for a 97 or newer Seville, preferably an STS of course. Although a nice 77 Eldo convert would fit the bill, I have to go the reliability route (as opposed to fun). The family has owned somewhere in the ball park of 8-10 Cads over the past 40 years, including mom's current Eldo and now it's time for me to enjoy a little comfort in the daily drive.
