Just wanted to share some information:
I just updated to new replacement power stering pump and replaced leaking power stering hose's. ( covered by woranty ) Total payed about $250. With new power steering pump and fluid car felt more ziggy and made less noice. 2nd problem that show's up in some Catera's is tranny solinoid which also just been replaced. ( also with woranty)
Since caddy got now little over 75.000 miles I changed to Castrol GTX anti wear protection oil for higher miles cars & Bosch oil filter. Last but not least is auto tranny oil flush service. Replaced Pan gasket, filter, flushed transmision cooler & add L u c a s O i l stabolizer ( little more life to tranny, smoother operation, cooler temp's, more direct shifting points ). Got a good deal for little over $100. So far cat runs very well, with not so bad gas economy. Thank's to Magna Flow cat back, K&N, Tornado fuel saver, New Kumo's and other etc's.
