Was out for a cruise on 495 East this afternoon in moderate traffic. I saw the Z roadster and cracked a nice smile when I saw the M badge and dual exhaust. It was on!:sneaky:

I first passed him slowly, we were at 65-70 mph. He didn't seem interested at first. Then I got in front of him. He must of read my plate(60UNDER5) and figured he would school me. The expressway is 3 lanes wide. When I saw a nice opening I moved into the center lane, we had a good 1/2 mile stretch.

He wasted no time flooring it as he came next to me,I saw the ass of the car squat. I was in 4th, I dropped into 3rd because he moved out quick. I was in 3rd very briefly, grabbed 4th and pulled him right in and proceeded to pass him before we had to slow down. I think we hit about 130.:lildevil:

We both slowed up because of the traffic and rolled down the windows..
His reaction was classic.. :bonkers: That THING is fast, man! My reply was don't feel bad, This THING has 400 HP..
The guy was cool and played back and forth for about 10 miles. We stayed on each other, never letting the other guy out manuever.

We had atleast 3 more openings and brought the cars up to 145 mph.
Let me tell you, That car runs! The V was able to pull away if he was behind me, and I was able to catch up if I did'nt run out of road first.:D
But, that M Roadster is no slouch and even though the V can pull away, the guy can still hang in the 120+ mph range.

Awesome fun on a Saturday afternoon. I love this car. On the way back home I catch a nice Jaguar XJ8. His chick was admiring the V and reading the plate!!:coolgleam

 I put 84 miles a day on 495 and have yet to race someone. No one seems interested; they must think it's a regular CTS. Either that or I need to put some pipes on. :sneaky: What time were you on 495 and how far east did you go? I still haven't heard a V with an exhaust in real life so we better meet up real soon. Once I hear one I know I'll be placing an order.:coolgleam Shoot me a PM.

Nice work. I've driven an M roadster before and they're quick. The lasting impression it gave me was one of effortless power and almost unbelievably smooth power delivery. Nice shifter feel, etc... Good to hear you outran him.
