Does anyone know how to remove the third brake light off an 04 Escalade ? I wanted to smoke the third brake light and don't see any screws or panels that I can remove.

You have to take it off from the inside, open the rear glass window, you will see three (I think they are torx screws) remove them, lower the window, lift the brake light enough to disconnect the electric connection, then remove from truck. :)

I was told you have to replace the whole light strip, but I can not confirm this .

Somone on ebay is selling the light strips for $54, probably cheaper to replace the whole thing than to replace the 4 LED's.
