Does anybody know if it is normal that when you pull the spark plug connectors out and look inside the engine, the spark plug is emersed in a pool of oil.

I appreciate any info. I'm a new catera owner and so far i have fixed the oil cooler problem myself.

No not normal - sounds like either a bad valve cover or a valve cover gasket. Get this checked out before it destroys the plug or plugwire and starts misfiring.

Had the same problem and i got the gaskets changed about a month ago but today i when i pulled the spark plug boots it was the same old story and i wont spend money on valve covers even looked at after throwing 500 bucks down the drain but i wish you better luck though
