I have P255/45R 18 W rated rear tires and P235/50R 18's in front. Dealer tells me to look on inside of the door (which I have already done):rant2: and the sticker should tell me. The problem is that there is no sticker. Can anyone help with proper air pressure? Should I inflate differently depending on time of the year (I live in Indiana)?

NO! That number is the MAX inflation before the tire is damaged. Read your owners manual. You should have about 34 psi when the tires are cold (sitting overnight inside).

The Pilot Sports call for 30 psi.
I have the same tires as you on my STS and the door label says 30psi.

The sticker is inside the drivers door jam a foot or so below the striker. (near the bottom. NOT on the door. 30 psi recommended on ALL STS's

As an autocrosser, I'd recommend 34 all around, or at least in the front. 30 is low for a large car, and if you do a lot of fast cornering, you'll experience a lot of tire rollover with 30 lbs in the front. 34 will sharpen your steering response, as well as keep the outside of the tires from wearing out prematurely.
This is purely subjective.
