It's a new Chevrolet Suburban! Look, what Autospies.com says:

An easy picture? No way? Although photographed in public areas, this Suburban actually has its own uniformed security detail! Apparently this is still supposed to be a secret – but we caught it nine months before its official debut.

Of Course, the Escalade, Tahoe and Yukon will all be variants of this truck...just with different skins and options.

I was looking at the pic and all I was saying it looks like a chev, then I read further down and I was right.

The rear photo was possible but once I saw the front view I knew it could not be a cadillac.

THats what I thought at first, but it is most probably the new suburban.

yeah the envoys are not on the same platform and the front does not have the denali grill, most likely a suburban.

unless the driver is 6'6 350...thats def not a full size SUV

When I saw the side view I was like you have got to be kidding me. All this hype and this is what they give us. Glad to hear this is not the the new Escalade.

I had a look at the H3 at the dealer today. The interior looks good. Aluminium trim and even looks of higher quality than the STS interior. So I assume the Escalade will have an even better interior.

Those pictures are really not all that big of a deal compared to the ones already released last year, but that is definitely a GMT900 SUV, the bolt pattern of the wheels and the wheel type (former duty on Military and Base GMT800 SUV's) is a dead giveaway of this. That front end looks pretty good, it seems the long center piece of the grille no longer wraps all the way around but rather stops at the light pods, and the lights themselves will be more defined. If the Suburban looks that good, the Escalade and Denali should be quite Impressive, though I suspect no longer as defined.

the rear doors look alot smaller than the normal escalade...

and i really hope that cadillac does not use those wheels on the 2007 escalade. they are ugly.

i dont know why... it just screams out "NISSAN" to me for some reason..

It looks like a Nissan Marano Truck to me :confused: especially from the side.

It's so OBVIOUSLY a Suburban, I'm not sure how it could be mistaken for anything else--long, flat, square body lines and a Chevy crossbar across the front. Furthermore, the wheels are simply base Silverado steel wheels to beat up during testing, and the back door is not smaller by any means, it's just an illusion (though not one that I can make out...)

I'd really like to know how anyone could think this was an Envoy.... :cookoo:

Furthermore, the only reason the article/pics were entitled with "Escalade" is because a lot of people consider it to be the most important version of the full-size SUV's, i.e., you technically are "seeing the first pics of the new Escalade" because it's essentially a heavily dressed version of this Suburban.

Those wheels look small especially on an ESV. They look more like the SRX's wheels actually but in 20"? They don't look 18" to me.

Still we can't judge until we see a good picture of the final product.

will the V-series recieve a supercharged 6.0Litre or will it recieve the V12?
