Proposed Delivery time AUGUST 05 - Hey is´nt it better to order then the 06 Version already?

What are they all chahing for Europa that they need so much in time? How is the delivery time for the V8 fully loaded in USA?

You could go to just about any dealer and pickup a V8 out of stock - there are loads of them around!

Hi Patrick, it`s like Aceman says, you buy your car out of the lot. The most Cadillac-dealer got 150 - 300 Cadillacs there and you pick the one you like.

Why you ordered a new STS ? The new STS will be here in germany at the dealers by mid mai but first the 3.6 V6!!!!
One month later the 4.6 V8 will arrive here - thats mid june
and as they told me all colors are available at this time - so why ordering?

The 06 will have no changes beside that you can get the STS V with 4.4 liters and 440 hp.

I drive here in germany a XLR, DTS and a Vette and I replace my DTS with a new STS very soon, at least before august.:yup:

thanks to your answer, but i spoke to Kroymanns in the Netherlands (importer for europe) and they told me, that there will be no V8 in June and non with all extras i orderd. they will give me an CTS 3.6 from June until August for a very special price. So it is not to bad.

At which dealer do you normaly buy in germany?

I bought a lot GM cars at Auto-Becker in Düsseldorf and when they closed up in 2002 I switched over to a dealer near me, here in Würzburg.

That`s where i got my 2002 Vette and now my XLR. I´ll think to replace my DTS with a new STS soon. I know a lot of peoples from Kroymans and they told me the V6 STS should be at the german dealer by mid may and the V8 about one month later. We`ll see.

And it comes in ALL the options already, v6 and v8!

How come it is delayed over there??

everytime US cars have to be delivered to europe, they need to make a lot smaller or bigger modifications on the cars to comply with the euro laws. Also since Im from Sweden the cars delivered to Sweden have to be extra isolated for the cold winters here, bigger stronger battery and things like that, so basicly a cadillac in Germany are not the same as a cadillac in Sweden and so on.

we get the new STS in two versions
the first is called the Elegance (entry level for the V6 and V8)
second is called the Lauch ( this on is fully loaded for V6 and V8) incl. DVD

extra cost here is: Taskana leather Eur 1.500
Heated and colled front seats Eur 1.650

ACC Eur 2.850
HUD (is incl. with ACC) ------
Sunroof Eur 1.500

The 05 STS is still not here, dealers say in the next 2 weeks!!!!!

hy harry, i am german and will buy the launch edition at kroymanns düsseldorf. fully loaded execpt sun roof. and they hope now to get the car end of july. but i am sure, GM will first serve all orders in the gulf area and then in europe. they allready have 25 cars at kroymanns since a few, but they are all sold as press or distributors vehicles.

Hi Patrickbk, this week the german dealers got their 3.6 STS in launch-edition.

The V8 is expected in one month from now. I still don`t know if I replace my DTS with a STS 3.6 or 4.6 - well, I know the V8 from my XLR but I`ve heard the 3.6 liter should be a very good engine with not too much difference to the V8.

I`ll make a test drive next week with the 3.6 and see.....

Tell Claus Beasler hi from the german Cadillac and Vette guy aus Kitzingen, he knows me pretty well. He works at Kroymans-Duesseldorf.

i will give him my regards. he made me a too good offer, so that his boss called me to change it after i orderd. (not the cash price, only the car for the meantime to august)

Hi Patrick,
my dealer got his first STS in yesterday, it`s the V6 3.6 Ltr. in light plat. with black int. - hope to get a test drive soon.
Last monday at the Corvette-Performance-Training in Boxberg I drove the Press-car from switzerland ( a fully equip. V8 with HUD and ACC) - nice ride!!!!
