I find myself in need of a new passenger ( right) side mirror. Some lowlife must have hit it hard in a parking lot. The glass is OK but the housing and the motor are both broke. The ears in the housing are broke in two places and the motor had one of its ears pulled off. A couple of questions. What years will fit a 92 Sedan DeVille? How does the glass attach to the motor? Once I pull the interior door panel off is it apparent on how the mirror is attached to the door? And last will the standard touch up paint work OK on the plastic of the mirror?

89 to 93, Not sure, Once you look at it it is pretty easy to see how to remove and replace it although there are quite a few wires to it it has a plug connector,The aftermarket auto duplicolor spray should match, Paint codes are under the hood on a tag, Just use that code in the paint stores cross manual to match it up.
I have a friend that owns a salvage yard, They have a white,Black,Gold,Maroon,med blue,metallic grey currently if any of those help out. He cuts me really cheap deals.

You have to take the door panel off. Then you can see the bolts that hold the mirror on and the wires that goto it. All those mirrors from 1985 to 1993 look the same but if you goto a junk yard it shouldn't be too hard to find one and they can tell you what different years will work on your car.

Once in a while you get lucky. I found a mirror locally even the correct color.
