So i finally pick up my 1994 cadillac concours , it was sitting for 1 month and 1 week at the garage i bought it from, after a lot of tears and money i picked it up. Just happy to finally pick it up, heading right on the highway i noticed that the car really held speed well, almost like the cruise was always on or something. Since this is my first real drive in this car i didnt know what to expect. As time went on i realized that if i took my foot off the accellerator, it would take about a minute for me to start to drop speed, and then it would continue to coast down until i touched the accelerator again. When i got off the highway things got interesting. My idle was high, not bad, but when you have a northstar pulling you around a little high is too high. It was very hard to stop, i put it in neutral it would take about a minute for the idle speed to drop back down, then i would put it in drive and coast, but if i even touched the gas it would speed up on itds own to 40mph . I got a the service engine soon light- the code i got was P027H when i checked it in my driveway. I have the full service manual, it says open throttle switch, but i dont see how a stuck switch could cause high idle, i got no other codes to follow, , Any ideas to help me
