Well heres my Deville story. Transmision finally went out on my parents 85 Sedan, to make matters worse theyv'e let her overheat one too many times so the engine, not that the 4.1 was a great, but heck it ran smooth so long is all but R.I.P. too. I allready have an extra Eldo sittin parts off in the garage and theyv'e since purchased themselves an suv. So the heat is on me to do something with Deville soon. Body is straight and blue leather interior is imaculate. Spoke hubs are there and mine now but I could use some help on what valuable and worthy of saving from the car as the junkyard seems to be my last resort. My daily driver is a 92 Eldo. What should I do Deville people? I need your opinions.:worship:

It's a sad day when one of these beauties has to go for her "final ride"
Is there any chance you could keep it & fix it up little by little, and have a nice older daily driver? I have an '87 Coupe DeVille, and although it's not 100% mint, she's an awesome daily driver. I can't believe the attention I get from this car.
If it comes right down to it, and you have to part it out, I imagine you could pull alot of parts off it. Maybe someone out there has a car similar that could use some parts. I'd give anything to find a car like mine close by to get parts off of.
Good luck with your situation, and let us know how it goes.
Peace.

I too was planning on making it a cool daily driver but with both the engine and tranny failing its just too much money. I could buy a decent caddy daily driver for about 1000 to 1400 bucks and save myself the time and work. Plus I have an extra Eldo of my own with the front end removed sittin at the house. So with 3 Caddys and only one running Unfortunatly its time to clean house.
