My mom has a 93 deville and she has had it several times in to be repaired for the same problem and again last evening it went out again here is what happens. The service soon light will come on and it feels like the motor is pulling down when you stop and go to start it will not start out in first gear you really have to step on the gas to get it to go and sometimes it stalls, the mechanic replaces a fuse on the passenger under dash side I think the #5 20 amp and then it will be fine for a while and then go back out, last night it did it again and I myself changed the fuse and it seemed to not help and the service soon light stayed on. The mechanic said that it could I believe a resistor is bad and will have to try and track it down so if anyone can help it would be great. Thanks Kraig

Turn the key on, but dont start the engine. Press OFF and WARMER on the climate at the same time and hold for a couple seconds. The whole climate control and fuel data center should lit up. After it does this it should show codes on the fuel data center. Some of the codes may repeat. They should look like this E30 E46. Yours will be different numbers but they should have a E in front. There may be some that have a F in front of them. Write them all down. When all codes have been showed "7.0" will be showed. You can turn the key off now.

Post the codes on here and we will try to help you.
