I just ran across some photos of the 1988 Cadillac Voyage concept.
A cross between the RWD Fleetwood and Caprice/Impala.

They call it Voyage - an inference to it being a "boat" - hee hee hee, that cracks me up. Okay - okay, it's the "flagship" of the fleet... I get it...

It's obvious that this Concept was the basis for the 93-96 FWB, but I think the production car is better looking, although I think the hidden/retractable headlights a la 67 Eldo would've been a nice touch.

That concept was really cutting edge in design when it was revealed. But it doesn't seem to have worn very well.

I agree, the Fleetwood it inspired is better looking.

there was another one they made in 87, i think not 100%, that was a two door. i dont remember the name but it looked very similar to that one except it was red. i think that car was called "The car Detroit must build" on a magazine (Time i think).

The 2-door was the Solitaire.
