Hey-new to the group.
Help!
My heater core went in my 92 El Dorado. How do I bypass it as a temporary fix? My mechanic friend said usually there are two hoses and it easy but under the hood there are three hoses. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Why would you want to bypass it..

I suppose what you could do is just connect together the 2 hoses that go into the core from the firewall.....

Probably because it's puking antifreeze all over the inside of the car.

There are probably 4 lines going into the firewall - 2 are A/C and 2 are heater core. You want the ones with hose clamps on them. I'm not sure why there would be a 3rd heater line, but these Caddys are strange beasts.

Thank you for both answers.

Here is an excerp from it. It is discribing where the hoses go FROM the "T".

One leg connects to a hose that comes from the thermostat housing.
One leg connects to a hose that goes to the firewall/heater core fitting.
One leg connects to a hose that goes to the front of the engine (passenger side of the car) that is the coolant bypass loop.
