The implementation of the navigation system functions are somewhat less intuitive than previous ones I have have used, even this years Lexus model which is made by Denso, same as Cadillac.

There is a mode where the right half of the screen lists all the turns for the entire trip, which can be scrolled...and I can make the system provide that list. However I am having a problem in that the system switches to that mode by itself under undetermined conditions, and I have to go back and push the screen appearance button and select the map view again to go back to the map view.

Does anybody have any clue as to why it it switching to that mode by itself and how that cana be stopped. ?:confused:
