: EAS49 error, Check Engine 94 fleetwood

I get a Check engine light whenever the secondary electric cooling fans come on. I also unplugged the fan, and it still gave em the check engine at same time.

There is no EAS 49 code in my caddy shop manual.

I used a scan tool to read the code.

Probably a bad relay. I'd try reading the OBD codes via the basic "Off & Warmer" button push method. Low-tech, yes but it works.

Afraid there is no code 49 in my book either.

Try the HVAC code puller, press and hold the off and warm button at the same time, if you have a manual it says it in there, section 8D6.
