I learned how to check my codes today. I had some come up. My question is when "PCM?" comes up how do you get it to start checking it?
Also when you see a H that means history does it mean that it was repaired? Also does it show all of the H's for the entire cars life or just the recent ones? Thanks.

Check this thread out. Read some info about the OBD1. It will give you a better undersatnding on how it works. H means history and it does not mean its fixed. It means the computer didn't get the error at the time the diagnostic was done. Post up all of the codes that you got and ill let you know what they are.

Thanks. I read about on it another site and it was helpful but I still don't fully understand about the History and how do you start from scratch so you know what is wrong because I have a few Hs and a few C's. Here is my list of stuff that I got codes for:

P039 H
P052 H
P061 C
P062 C
P065 C
P109 H
I052 H
No ACP
No SIR
No TCS
S073 H

This is everything I got. Then it went to PCM? and I am not sure how to test each item after that. Thanks. My car is a 94' Seville SLS.

Disconnect the battery for about 10-15 mins and then reconnect. Run diagnostic again then you will have all of them erased except what is still coming up

Thanks. So the H ones mean that it is ok and fixed or that it could reoccur but hasn't yet? What happens when you clear the codes? Is this the same as disconnecting the battery?
