I am a person who loves good advertisements and have a sales, marketing, & advertising background. Well last night while watching game seven of the yankees/sox series I saw the best advertisement I've ever seen Cadillac run.

It was an SRX commercial with a black SRX flying down a curvy road with the sunroof open. It showed the sunroof open from about 3 different angles and the SRX gliding through turns. At the end...it had both the man driver and the woman passenger putting their arms out the window like wings and it looked like the SRX was flying away...It looked really cool.

It was all-around great execution and really leveraged the huge moon roof feature well. I want a black SRX now!

I've only seen it once and I can't wait to see it again. I hope GM's ad agency brings out another Ad like that for the XLR and ditches the uninspiring "break through" advertising series.

Yep, and I agree. Good marketing strategy. They call it a Performance Sport Utility, not an SUV. And I really like the Led Zep Rock and Roll music track and the way the announcer says "Cadillac".

Oh yeah, that jogs my memory...PERFORMANCE SPORT UTILITY is catchy as hell. They can back that statement up too. I want one.

I personally think that's a pretty lousy ad and a very ugly vehicle. Then again when I first saw the CTS I thought it was ugly, but the look kinda grew on me. I hope the same goes for the SRX.

theres also an ad that starts out with a field of stars and it zips back and forth across the scree, eventually it turns out to be the view out the roof of the SRX at night. Both commercials are some of the better ones ive seen for Cadillac

I think the SRX is a sharp vehicle...... And recently Ive liked cadillacs commecials...... It makes me wanna go get one......

...no way though, the best one had to be durring the superbowl, when the guy goes int he train station in the mid 50's, sees the ad for the ~'55 DeVille, it moves, car is driving on the road, the new CTS passes the classic DeVille, the train slows up, but now in todays time, but if you look, it is the same street sign....the whole trian was a time machine....and Zepplin goes a long way too :D

another thing..... the CTS commercial when they have the twisty road and the sign then at the end it get's blown away by the CTS.....one time when I was listening to my Zepplin CD, Rock and Roll came on, and i was on a VERY twisty road, it was in the summer, windows down etc... and I thought back to that commercial, and was like hell yeah, I pushed my car soo hard in those turns it was crazy, and all I could think about was that ad.....the funny thing though, is my car was not design for hadling at all, but it does handle well.......it is just great to see an older styled Caddy tearing up the road either in stright line or twisty.....

Aw don't tell me that Cadillac has one of those things now :disappoin 1st thing that it reminded me of was a Buick Rendezvous. Which I just brought up in another post a couple minutes ago.

Cadillac REALLY has to do something with their names. I've been seeing SRX on here for a couple days now and kept thinking someone was talking about a Honda :histeric:

Ha...the 17th street one is pretty good, I like it.

I still like the Wings one the most...its flawless. The woman moving her wrist like that is funny as hell too.
