I test drove several V's during the purchasing process and I came to one conclusion....

Is it just me or do the Black V's have a hell of a lot more horses than the silver ones...:devillaug (http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=98#)

Before purchasing my Raven Black/Black (you must also get the black interior to maximize the factory horses), I drove both and then met with the Regional Director for Cadillac to get a few questions answered that the dealership could not. He stated the Platinum, looks silver to me, was being targeted for the geriatric crowd, as the lessened HP suited their needs. Black shreds dude, but do not say aloud to the Platinum contingency, as they are still very jealous of the 30+ RWHP they missed out on. The BBB is aware of this issue, and I think the '06 models must have a specific HP rating based on the V's color.

Sorry if I let this secret out. :shhh: (http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=98#) I didn't realize it was only known by Cadillac and us with the 30 more RWHP. I hope the guys that didn't know this don't flame me on this thread. Not my fault the grey car isn't as powerful. :tease: (http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=98#)

Of course the generic crowd as you call them shouldn't be pissed after all they are generic.... (http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=98#)

Doesn't black absorb more photons? Thus making it heavier. Or are photon's massless? I flunked college physics :)

I guarantee you'll beat me to the car wash :D

Move along, nothing to see here.
