I have an 05 ... and the audio settings will not stick with my radio nor my xm... I've programed EQ1 to my settings.. and it'll stick when i switch to CDs but when i go back to radio or XM... the settings are back to preset: custom, dsp: normal, avc: off... Each time I have to set it to EQ1, Spacious, On.
ugh! What's wrong?

I had the same problem until I went to the FAQ section... it's there. My EQ settings now "stick". Look in the FAQ section.

Click "Radio"
Click "How do I Keep the audio settings,(EQ settings) permanent? (http://www.cadillacfaq.com/faq/answers/radiopreset.html) http://www.cadillacfaq.com/faq/nw-use.gif (http://www.cadillacfaq.com/faq/answers/radiopreset.html)"

after you set the radio station of choice, set the main memory on the door. Then it should do it..

Honestly, the manual wasn't too clear and the dealer was, of course, clueless when I got my V back in November, BUT as usual, I found the solution here in the FAQ section.
