Of an upcoming product to be offered by your friend and mine, Mr. StealthV.
This is a work in progress, hoses can still be cleaned up and rerouted a bit to eliminate some of the mess.

Is the MP really that bad? What about Rick's intake tube combined with the MP cold air box with big cone filter?

The MP isn't that bad, but I prefer the FFV with an aftermarket drop in filter (prior to the Maggie, that is). I never tried the FFV with something like the MP CAI but I'm sure it would work. Whether the gains would be worthwhile? Better ask someone who knows more than me.
On the Maggie, the intake tube supplied by Magnuson is great. There is a kink to clear the idler pulley - but it is really open and not restrictive at all. As Blown Chevy stated elsewhere, flow tested to 600 hp or something of that nature.
Interested in the MP piece? Mines for sale - cheap :)
PM if interested.
