Hey Guys,

I have a request about these ( http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/images/lastpost.gif ) buttons.

Can they be changed into actual buttons with text? I occaisionally "mark all read" instead of "view new posts" and it kinda gets old after a while... I think it'd be better if they were actually labled instead of the floating lables when you have your mouse over them. A bigger target to hit would be nicer too, especially for those of us who have to deal with premature clicking disorder. ;)

Just a thought.

I Like the idea of labeling the button

thats what those do? was always afraid to click them... i guess i will continue to be until they have text.

Oops - sorry, didn't see this Thread. Those buttons *should* have text within the next coupla weeks. They were left the way they are because the last thing perfected before the RC is released is the "style".

RC means release candidate BTW, it's a program release which is thought stable enough to be the release version but which is still being checked for problems. After one or more RC's, the "gold" version is released. Anyhow, the RC is due out very soon and will have the final style in place. The reason the style is dealt with last, and the reason no modifications to the base program are readily available yet, is because everything changes with each Beta version and it would be a waste of time to try to perfect the style before the underlying program code is set.

So, bottom line, its coming. Nobody knows what it's gonna look like yet, but I think it we'll all like it. A few more weeks and there will be text on the buttons, and *much* more...

We'll have to wait and see. And modifications are possible as well given adequate time and resources... ;)

Yes, everything will be changing shortly - for the better.. As far as different colors and styles go, that'll probably have to be done by me.. I've been so short on time lately that I haven't been able to do much here but maintain the site. You've probably noticed that I don't even post much anymore...

Anyways.. Don't worry! Those little buttons will be updated shortly...
