I HAVE A 1997 CATERA.

Oh no. What just happened. I jumped in my car and all of a sudden, the lights are not working for my heat and air conditioner. I can't even see the temperature for the outside of the car. I pressed the on and off switch, but it's not doing anything.

I don't know what it could be. Any suggestions? Has this happened to you?

Start checking for blown fuses (can be related to the cigarette fuse)

This is an excerpt out of the owners manual which also lists access to the fuse panel underneath the steeringwheel and fuse locations:

Thanks. I checked and changed the fuses yesterday, I did have some blown fuses, but still nothing for the problem I was looking for. You are right about the cigarette lighter, that doesn't work at all now so I guess it's related to my problem. Any other suggestions.
