Must be an STS-V. They learned from our cars and fixed the STS.

StealthV

Nope, it is not a STS-V.

XLR-V. I won't stop guessing so you'd better just tell me. I've kept plenty of secrets before. Like the LS2.

I know what I'm doing tomorrow :helpless: ... I'll check the underside of every new Cadillac. I'll also ask a few people ( who have access to more GM info than I do ) if they know about any cast iron Cadillac diffs...

It's an electronic LSD on the STS SAE concept. The one with the blown LS2 and has all the high tech stuff installed on it.

Did anyone guess it was HIS car yet? I just don't know about the weight. You start adding anti wheel hop bars and a cast iron rear to the mix, you just totally screwed up the weight distribution of the car and what it is meant to do. IMHO of course.

dannystang
04-14-05, 06:46 PM
If you add a supercharger you balance it out though?

wildwhl

Good point, Dannystang. So, they should be sold as a package :bouncy:

Guys, seriously. That's the electronic rear differential on the STS SAE Experimental car. I'm not joking.

So that means that the diff costs big bucks and there's no way that Cadillac is going to offer it as a replacement for ours, right?

If that diff leaks, does that make it a "wet dream"??

Just wanted to add, did you see that picture of the truck. Kinda makes it hard to pug luggage or golf clubs in there huh?

This is proof that GM knows our aluminum cased Getrags are junk. In order for the General to get all of us to buy the next 20XX V, they should do the right thing, perform a voluntary recall and put the cast iron version in our Vs.

Taking care of the customer is #1 and the customer is the only one with $$$.

GM, the ball is in your court.

Florian

I concur....GM you tried the cheap route, it failed (over and over and is costing you thousands) now fess up and recall our rear diffs so we can finally have peace of mind. Give us the diff a 50+K car deserves.
