Onstar called last week to tell me it was time to start paying. I told them I had to think about it. They then informed me If I renewed it right there, they can do it for $150 for a year. Whats that, like $3 off the regular price?

That's cheap... and it's good to know. OnStar is offering a special right now... for 3 years at $549.00, but you do get the new digital OnStar equipment. :drinker

I just got something in the mail about renewing OnStar, they want $199.00 / year (Safe & Sound). I'll have to give them a call and ask for $150....

It's definitely worth the money, I used it recently to report a drunk driver. Unfortunately the police couldn't stop the guy before he hit a motorcyclist.

That sucks (Vrocks)! Has anyone upgraded? I'm about to renew my contract with verizon and get a new phone. When they "upgrade" does that require any other hardware to get it to work in my car?

OK....why renew?

According to Caddy's web site, the car already has 4/50 roadside assist
http://www.cadillac.com/cadillacjsp/ownership/index.jsp?key=RoadsideService
which includes tire changes, fuel service, door unlock....
sure On* has rudimentary diagnostics and that air bag thingy....

For $550 you can get 1/2 headers of choice, or CTSV05's anti-hop kit, 1/10 maggie, or 26 cases of Shiners :D
