So...I got to cleaning up my ride today, and while I was fiddling under the hood, i peered down into the hole (marked with the screwdriver) and saw some kind of slider bar, marked with 0-76, and R and L, with a nut. (Attached photos)
This for adjusting the aim of our headlights?
Is it to dial up the boost on the hidden, yet undiscovered stealth blower GM put on?
Is it to tune the front grille alignment, which in my car was off, but I adjusted the hood, bumper, grille, front quarters, and that cheap plastic thing on the front of the hood to align mine :)

Thanks :)

First: always be careful when peering down into the hole.

Second: be careful when getting shop tools close to the hole.

Third: I tried peering into the hole this morning, and didn't find any metrics or directions. Or a nut, thank goodness.

No holes, no bubbles, just lots of electronics this weekend.

Rick,
Mounting the laptop there might make it hard to shift... and the beer may spill if you are driving agressively...

Just kidding..

I wish we could find a way to put that on the display all the time.. It would be cool... Maybe we should all put the carputer in our cars...

If you really wanted to have it done so that you would be able to see it all the time, have the guys at west coast customs (or any major customs shop for that matter) install a dash monted lcd/plasma screen. with the neccessary equipment to do readouts on the performace. It could be done, but you gotta have big $.

When I was a teenager, Coors beer was illegal in my state. So of course, the in thing to drink was Coors. We'd run across the state line in our old muscle cars and bring our bootleg Coors beer back for some wholesome fun.

A perfect example why companies spend millions of dollars to hook people as young as possible, they are life long customers. You guys will all be driving Cadillacs for the rest of your lives... ;)

Nothing wrong with Coors beer. Hey I was raised on it in SW Nebr and I made plenty of trips across the Colo state line to get it in my late teen years. Of course having moved to, and lived in, Colo most my life since then I have tried a few other brands. But there is nothing like a Coors beer while watching the Cadillacs race in the SCCA Speed GT World Challenge races in St Petersberg, Fl on TV while its snowing like hell outside in Denver like it is now. By the way I plan to watch the Caddy s race in the GT World Challenge live here in Denver this summer - obviously with a few Coors beers to keep cool.

Well, if any or you guys make it to the Ohio gathering in June, I promise to bring some AHRN City. It tastes like Coors on acid. Really, like maybe nitric acid. It'll put hair where you don't want it and burn it off where you do.

We better get back on topic or it's off to the non-tech with this thread.

We're getting hammered now - 16" of snow in my back yard. It'll be gone in a few days though and I'll be back in my saddle (V) with my sunroof open getting a tan.

4:20 PM: Typing this looking through the back slider. Still huge amounts of sun. Wife is in the backyard reading a book, getting a tan on her legs. It's good to be in California.
