Alright, Caddie says 4.6 and Road and Track (on an admittadly hurt V) says around 5.2 . With wheel hop and all what's the best anyone's actually gotten in the real world? I figure someone's got one of those windshield mounted gizmos to time it....

There are both windshield mounted gizmo reported times (do a search) and recent magazine comparos that have achieved 4.7 I think.

Speaking of onboard gizmos, Car and Driver has a GREAT article on a whole range of meters.

OK, here's the sad news. My 0-60 is LOWER (numerically higher)with the Maggie installed than before. I just can't hook up :lildevil:

On the contrary....way too much fun to drive like this, and I just need to learn to drive with the extra power available now :)

I read that too. I was suprised at how well the most inexpensive one did.
Cheapie = Gold Coast Systems Tazzo VPC - $90
Have you lost your mind? = Race Tech' AX22 - $960

What MOST of us could really use = Passport GT2 $180 or the G-Tech Pro $300.

Here's the data Wild and I have logged and used to compare his supercharged V to my V in completely stock trim (no B&B or FFV).

Both cars in 2nd gear, from a roll, 17 to 43 mph.

Wildwhl: 2.2 seconds
StealthV: 2.2 seconds

When some blown V is challenging you to a race, tell them you'll only run up through 2nd gear.

By now everyone knows I'm getting the maggie, but dear god man! Under 8 seconds?! In 4th gear?! I have what could commonly be referred to as a chubby.

Rick -

Are you sure of those numbers :)

I think you might have my 3rd gear roll on...IIRC 4th gear is 11 seconds or so :D

Sorry about the screw up on the second set of numbers Maggie lovers. Here's the correct data:

Wildwhl Maggied versus StealthV w/ B&B resonator + FFV + Tune

Both cars in 4th gear, from a roll, 39 to 98 mph.

Wildwhl: 11.44 seconds
StealthV: 12.81 seconds

Yeah...but how I wish your first numbers were the real numbers (can you say 10 second 1/4 mile?) :lildevil:

You'll need a bit more than an extra 150 horses unfortunately......
