I know some of us here are getting ready for the tracks. Has anyone run their V on the 1/4 mile in stock form, after different mods, etc?
Please post your experiences here, 60 ft times, and speed when you crossed the 1/4?
I only have my V since January, so no track time yet.. I'll try a few passes down the 1/4, but I am more enthused with an actual road course.

I am really hoping for some kind of a 12 second run with the headers, exhaust, intake and anti wheel hop kit.. I don't think that's unrealistic if I can get a good launch..

I will find out in a couple of weeks, as soon as I get a Stage 3 built and on our car.

I don't bother to find out since I live at around 4,500 feet. This car does make the mountains feel smaller though.

As long as opening day at New England Dragway stays the same I will be taking her down the track in one week, April 15th..

I want to get a couple runs in with just the B&B resonator catback and drop in K&N filter pannel. I am hoping for 13.5's or better with those two mods.
I am going to get it tuned after that and run her again to see what was gained from the tune. Then the B&B headers and cats, another tune, wheelhop kit and back to the track for what should be some 12 second runs.
Now that Doug is offering his kit in powdercoat I have to have it.. I will be calling you soon..
I should have about 700 miles or so on her by next Friday, so she will just be getting quicker and quicker with more miles..:burn:
