: what's up with this limo?

What are those white phones for? To talk to the driver?

That's an intercom only.
The car's old as hell! Back then, they would stretch damn near anything. Notice it's only a Deville rather than a Fleetwood. Besides, American was/is a cheap car.

A 4100 limo.. oh no. They still had the 368MD in the commercial chassis that year.

lol, yeah I noticed that. Whoever ordered that limo went really cheap...except for that high-tech intercom system.

There needs to be a NES on the back TV. Then they could really bump up the asking price.

The limo industry was far different back then guys. The cars were being built with little or no OEM input, the Federal Government would slap a sticker on virtually anything, and just about anybody with a Sawzall and a welder thought they were a coachbuilder. Believe me, there were some seriously crappy cars built back then. Over the years, the industry has come a long way but there ARE still some coachbuilders out there that are still building vehicles with questionable safety levels due to the fact that the Federal Government is STILL reluctant to oversee the industry. Unfortunately, that means there's a lot of vehicles out there cruising around that are potentially unsafe.
