: possible problems with air shocks compressor?

well my air compressor for my air shock system doesn't want to turn on oddly I tested it and it works the fuses are good both indoors and under the hood.

Tomorrow I am going to replace the relay but could the relay be the reason why it doesn't turn on?

I believe the relay is just for the ALC light that is supposed to come on inside the car while the compressor is actice.

What other possibilities are there that can cause my air compressor not to turn on?

They usually don't use relays to turn on an indicator light. Relays are usually to turn on something that pulls too much load for a switch in the dash to handle. ie: the horns and headlights are usually on relays.
I could see the light and the compressor being wired in parallel off the relay so that when the relay switches, both of them turn on at the same time.
Have you tested the relay? If it is bad, I would think it pretty likely that that is at least part of your problem.
