Does anyone have the pinout or wiring diagram of the connector in the back of the 04 GM Truck radios? Id like to splice in wherever XM comes in as possible and hijack the audio source so I can plug in an Ipod.

Thanks!

What is the part number of the radio you need the pinout?

great idea! I've always thought of doing this.....

also noticed lots of aftermarket harnesses/adapters out there that do stuff like this...worth looking around

How did this end up in the lounge? :hmm:

Anywho... I finally completed this project almost two weeks ago to the day. It came out nicely. I still have to splice in the common ground wire for completely noiseless sound (got a slight hum going with low volume music), but overall I was pleased with it.
