Getting some vibration throught the steering column during low speed turns such as into a driveway.

Same here. What model and year car? I have a 96 ETC.

Feels strange dont it. I read somewhere that the pump is usually the culprit. Wish someone would chime in.

I read that it had to do with some bushing in the steering system. GM's fix to this was just to "re-lube" it and send it down the road.

I get it while going into my driveway, pulling into a parking spot at the mall, or pulling out of a spot on the street.

I HATE IT!

Re-lube, so I wonder how much the stealer wants for that?

When you get the car serviced, they are supposed to lube all the grease fittings. Its not that hard to do. It should only take like ten minuites, and thats giving time for putting it on the lift.
