Hello... any advice?

I live in a Florida Apt complex. I have this 1980 Eldorado which runs fine and needs some cosmetic work and which I adore. I have been in the throes of trying to sell it/consider whether to keep it or to fix it. We have a 98 Deville that we actually drive these days so I got some temp tags to sell it. They expired 02/23. I have 2 questions:
1) Was it legal for it to be towed last night without my authorization and without sticker or letter notification/warning? (I stopped them as they were leaving but they refused to turn back or allow me to access my belongings.)
2) Is it worth paying the towing/storage costs vs. the value of the car?

(also when I tried to sell online I was bombarded with check scams!)

:worship: :suspense:

Towing laws depend on state and municipality. Its only worth keeping depending on how you personally and subjectively value the car.

Otherwise, what are your towing/storage fees?

Just $140 as it turns out, I called them and they are going to try to hook me up with a buyer. I was just pretty disgusted that it happened without warning. I assumed that even with expired tags they would have to give you some kind of notice or warning first.

:( Might want to check with the city to see if they were within legal bounds.
