Hi! I have a factory '76 Seville service manual, a body manual, and a '78 Seville electrical troubleshooting manual too. None of these manuals give out the specifications for the coolant and ambient air temperature sensors, nor any of the specifications for any of the other sensors or switches on the fuel injection system. Is there a specific manual that just covers the fuel injection system on these Sevilles? Perhaps my service manual is an early production edition and they didn't go into detail on the injection system? Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your help! John :)

Both the coolant and air temp sensors are the same exact part. They should show the same resistance when cold.

I've found an old manual which covers this system. I e-mailed the webmaster to see if it can be posted on this site. Meantime Ohmmeter reading across temp sensor should be between 600-1600 increasing with temperature.
