I want a tire that will last long but I also want a sporty looking tire. I had Kuhmo's before and I loved the look, it's the only low-profile tire I have ever had though, so I can't sompare it to anything else. Price is also a factor, but bang for the buck is what I mean when I say price. Here are my options:

Kuhmo- $1,800
Hankook- $1,600
BF Goodrich- $2,000
Pirelli- $1,800

All are 305/35/24.

Can you guys tell me which one you would go with and why? Thank you.

Anybody like cooper. I heard they are the cheapest 24" tire.

if price is a concern get the Kumhos, i got them on my Momo's 24inch and they lasted 30,000 miles before i changed the fronts. It cost me though $550 per tire with install and that was the best deal anywhere, so $1800 be a steal.

I just put a set of 24" Coopers on - they definately have more of a "truck" look than the others, but they seem to ride pretty decent.

I just put a set of Hankook 18's on my Scion and I must say they are the best low profile tire I have ever owned - they are really quiet and they ride great.

Good luck.

pirelli 315-35-24's those are badass and you get TINY bit more sidewall lol

But the thread pattern isn't sporty like lets say the toyo or the kumho

so my best bet for a sporty pattern is the Kuhmo's and BF Goodrich's? Thanks for all the help guys.

the toyo's look pimp... I think they look the best... and my friend who has 22's on his white denali loves his proxy's and the ride is not bad at all, its pretty smooth if you ask me...

I just bought a set of Hankook Ventus b/c everyone that has bought it has given it high ratings. I've heard a bunch of bad reviews of people who had Kuhmos and BFGs. I've done a lot of shopping around on these tires also, and Hankooks seem to be selling well for all the retailers right now... and Pirelli doesn't seem like its worth the price, search this forum and people who have actually experienced these tires will tell you, BFG and KUHMOS r really the ones that are crap.

Can you tell me if adding the 24" wheels void the GM warranty on your Escalade 2004 and newer?

I would choose the Pirelli, I have seen some test (not on that size) and the pirelli did pretty good. And of corse a little cheaper than the BF

I had bfg 24's they are junk, very good look but a weak sidewall and they seemed unstable in wet conditions. not for East Coast Usage and road conditions.

I also had 26" kumho's and had no complaints, they rode nicer than my 24" bfg's. I drove 100 miles a day on NJ roads with them last spring/summer. They were great.

I have yet to ride Hankook but have also heard nothing but positive things. I think they even have a road hazard warranty? (not sure) And F.Y.I. they have 26's coming out.

my friend has pirelli 24's on his hummer and they ride smooth, but they are expensive and in my opinion they look too bubbly and round. kills the overall look.

Cooper Xeon I have heard mixed reviews, but not really impressed overall. They look decent. The tech that does all the custom installs and mounting and balancing at the shop I work at says they are straight trash. very poor sidewall as well. soft similiar to the 1st gen toyo proxy. (He has over 11 years or custom tire installation expirience.)

Thanks for all the help. It seems everyone (including tire shop owners who I have already told I am not buying from them), it seems to me that I was happy with my old Kuhmo's, help up for 30,000 plus, and they are reasonable priced so I think I will go with them. Does anyone have any objections?

hankooks hands down, whoever said hankooks suck obviously doesnt know shit about tires....kumho's suck for ride but good for looks. Bf goodrich also dont have good ride and pirelli's and coopers dont look very good. I have hankooks and have hade them since october and havent had a problem once, dont have to worry bout potholes much anymore.

Pirelli's are good but the down fall is looks, cost, and they get loud as hell when they start to wear. Hope this helps !
