How do you tell she's a fake? From what I've seen the only real difference between the V and a normal STS are the hood and brakes and I think you could get the brakes as part of one of the upgrade packages.

those aren't Brembo brakes, they are the stock ones just painted red.
those likely aren't 6 lug rims, they are rather ugly ones too.
the rear spoiler is not the V series spoiler.
the rear bumper doesn't look like the correct one.
and I don't see a hood bulge either ... but that could be the angle.

Side skirts, front and rear bumpers, grille. What tells me is the side skirts. I'm guessing pjeter saw the whole car.

If you zoom you can see the bottom half of the rear bumper is that grey exposed plastic they had on the bumpers from 2005 to 2007.

Having a v myself I can spot a fake from miles away. The only thing he did was the badging on the doors and trunk lid. Theirs one more fake around where im from but I think he went into hiding because I called him out on it.

Sorry for the horrible picture ...

Ok got it. I didn't notice those things until you pointed them out. I guess I don't see as well as I used to. LOL

Haha nice, I keep seeing a fake M5 around town, and I have tried to race him a few times and he won't play. He has M5 badges on a 545i or 550i, which are still decent cars. I say if you really want the exclusive car, just buy the darn thing, why waste money for all show and no go?

Being a phony is lame. Just admit what you have.
