: I'm Bored

So now what?

I can't post amongst my friends, because my enemies have decided to use that against me, over and over and over and over...

I don't have a darn thing to ask anyone about my car.

I have attempted to answer any questions anyone has had about my car or similar models. And admitedly, my mechanical experience cannot help owners of any other models.

So what is a bored Cadillac owner supposed to do when he isn't allowed to speak to his many friends with whom he shares at least two great passions?

I know...

Ralph

How do you think I feel?! Nothing ever goes wrong with my car and most of the advice I can give concerns carburated models that are 25 years old. :crying:

I'm forced to have hobbies like starring at pics of Natasha for hours and hours of the day. :histeric:

AAaahhhhhh.

There is always the good ol' Iran thread, but I'm so sick and tired of it!

Well I'm bored too. I have completed my finals for the quarter and am awaiting the results...By the way: I HATE ****ING MATH!!! :rant2:

I mean who the Hell cares, right? I'm a political science major looking for law school one day and I see no need to be able to compute complex fractions, variables, polynomials, solving for ****ing X, Y, and Z, cartesion coordinates, ****ing exponents, and whatnot...I HATE ****ING MATH!!! :rant2:

The biggest worries for me during the school period is math. I'm not too bad at it and I can do it well, but I feel I have other things to better myself on other than concentrating all energy to calculus 666. :rant2:

I'm sorry for the rant, but I like spending my time on other things than math...I'll probably wind up being a math teacher somewhere...

<----- Also bored. Sitting at work, having to work a double because one of my jackass managers that work for me had to go out of town. A double is from 12pm to 4am! I have thus far spent a couple hundred on ebay and had to stop myself from spending even more on a set of eibach springs I found there.

I bought over a hundred dollars worth of Zaino products from hcvone, decided to send out my tail lights to get smoked.

All in all, I've spent more money than I will make today sitting here being bored.:annoyed:

I have searched the forums for words that you never would think would be posted on a Cadillac forum, looked at everyone elses Caddys, tried to figure out who Natasha is, refreshed pages I've recently posted on every other minute in hopes of a new response, and now stumbled into this thread.

I like playing some internet games and the like...I also read glocktalk.com, they have a police section I really enjoy, the guns are exciting at first but get kinda blah at the end.

I do a ton of internet reading, about all types of things, Especially cadillacs, passats, vw golfs, flashlights, LEO issues, at one point sound equipment, news, foreign affairs, amongst other things...

If all else fails there is always internet pornography

As of now, I'm keeping away from the laptop system: I'm going with Megasquirt for the fuel system.

With even 6 psi and some intercooling (if I do decide on one), I will be running mid 14's...I hope. Remember, the mods I have now will be basically useless due to the turbocharger being in the place of all of that. And the exhaust will be quiter due to the restriction...But I'll guarantee that an Avalon will not bean issue...Hell, it isn't even an issue now.

Right now, with 6 psi, I will be doing about 75+ hp up top. Add the low-end torque and I believe she'll really burn them up.

I don't know for sure. They might get some different shows down east, mind you, if it's on CBC then the whole country gets it. At least we have Dagmar. :p We have car review shows like "Motoring 2005 (year changes annually for the name) and sometimes they feature bikes, etc. Dag riding the Boss hoss was as good as it can get anyway. :) I used to have the speed channel and liked these shows. I also miss the Speed C. movies they used to play every Saturday, like all those old Peter Fonda biking movies.

95% of our TV is from the U.S. so it doesn't really matter I guess.

Paul Jr. is the bike theme genious, his younger brother, Mikey, is the comic relief.

The old man is famous for phrases like "Don't be stupid!" I'm gettin' aggrivated!" "Get to the gettin." "You'll find my size twelve up your @$$!"
Paul Jr. is the bike theme genious, his younger brother, Mikey, is the comic relief.

Yup, DC is great, along with TLC, A&E. I cancelled part of my cable to make up for HS internet so I could get those again if i want in the future. At least I get "Pimp My Ride" on Much More Music.

Looks like something a sado-masochist would want to ride! I missed the first part of that build, where did they put the gas tank?

right infront of the rear tire ...relocated the oil tank under the frame/engine ...its all pretty neat in that respect

betwen the pipes and seat they should have called it "the darwin bike" because darwins theroy is at play here , someones gonna get weeded out of the genepool rideing that thing

which brings up an interesting question, what are they useing for a fuel pump since gravity feed wont work as the tank is bleow the carbs

I like the look though, I'd go for a nice padded seat. I agree the pipes are not in the most practical spot. You have to keep moving so as not to be inundated by exhaust fumes and the noise has got to wear on you after more than 20 minutes of riding. "Eh? What did you say?!!"

He used an electric fuel pump and it only holds enough gas for about 20-30 minutes of riding.

Dudes,

I know that you are bored.....
:but, Bikes??!! (Sorry Stoneage) ;and,
meritorious SuperCanadian Heroes?!??
(Ralph, you know I love Terry (soon to
be on the $1 Coin) and you know that
I'm an Urban Wild West supporting Don
Cherry Natasha loving Right of center
Caddycentric Canuck).

But; Fellas, let's talk about burning rubber,
5&10W30 conventional vs. synthetic,
Northstar power, luxurious styling, RWD vs.
FWD, Hot Ho's, octane, Fleetwood R.I.P. ,
trouble codes, RPM and freakin' rims.

Let's Dis some riceburner loving anti American
advocates already!

Didn't this thread really start because someone got
the misperception that they were being ostracized?
Don't sweat it Saint. You got doubled teamed.

car of yours and capitalize on your good fortune.

Thanks. I really love driving it. And modifying it comes in a close second.

This is the only car I have ever purchased with the intent of it remaining in my stable for the long term. Although it will be removed from it's daily driver status, and hopefully soon. But I only do that because of gas prices and to keep the miles down.

And while I can recognize it's flaws and I am honest enough to admit them, I bought it wholly for it's strengths.

It's biggest strength is it's large classy physical presence. It stands out no matter where I go, because no one else has a big Cadillac Fleetwood. It's the last of the line of the big traditional Cadillacs.

It stand out at the valet in Beverly Hills, because it's not your oh-so typical black Mercedes Benz and with it's Torq Thrusts it's so low-brow to park it on Rodeo drive.

It stands out in the hood and the barrio, because it's a hot rod look on a traditionally pimpin' or lowridin' style car (here in LA anyway).

It stands out in hot rod shows, because it's a daily drivable tow vehicle that will give up to 6 people a good seat in the pants off the line thrill ride when needed.

It stands out at the stop light, because no one else races a loud obnoxious (when you jump on it) Fleetwood to the speed limit. They do fly by a few minutes later, speeding though.

It stands out with 85 year old grandma, who can enter the rear seat without any pain or suffering and who also likes the new loud exhuast noise.

But most importantly it stands out with my nephew, because I can smoke it's tires! :burn:
