:worship: Thanks you guys! Also thanks to a few other folks with links to pics, diagrams and threads. My '95 SLS was gonna cost big buck to fix OD. You guys were all correct all the trans shops were wrong and way over priced. I found a small steel ball on the pan magnet (YESSSSS). That damn cadi has a gigantic pan and an oversized valve body area. All of you were soooooo right. The pan was no fun to drain and the valve body must have 25-30 bolts, there are two different pieces (valve body assembly), a very large part and a small part (driver's side). You really gotta watch the different size bolts (on the valve body assembly), I did get them mixed-up but it's kind's easy to see which one protrudes or are too long or short during reassembly because they will either stick-out or look too short on the opposite side of the valve body. Also if you take your time you can leave two bolts in while you turn the whole assembly upside down to remove each side (of the valve body) so the check balls stay in place. You basically have to remove each side of the valve body from the gasket plate so that you hold the whole assembly with each valve body (the one you're removing) on the bottom side. In other words, leave a couple of bolts holding each valve body to the plate then turn it over so the side you are removing is on the bottom side (when you take off the last few bolts) that way all the check balls stay in place. Have a pile of rags or something to hold the valve body (with balls) in an upright-position (balls up) so everything stays put till you're ready to reassemble. The solenoid clips really jump out so keep your hand (fingers) over them as you remove. It was ALMOST FUN!!
Make sure you remember the routing of the electrical cable going to the solenoids so you can get it back in place during reassembly, also remember where and how the elect. clips are arranged through the valve body before removal. One solenoid was cracked (YESSSS). Torque everything evenly and from the inside to the outside.
Thanks a-MILLION to ALL. Car works drives like NEW!!!
