For those of you who like to search databases and see what interchanges with what (this makes boneyard searching fun!)

http://www.acdelco.com/html/catalog/index_auto.htm (to lookup the p/n)

http://www.acdelco.com/html/catalog/index_list.htm (to lookup what cars that part is on)

It is very enlightening!

Neat, the only problem is it only crosses AC Delco numbers, not OEM numbers.

is this the type of database junkyards use?

Not that I have found, but it would be nice.

Check with a local boneyard to maybe buy thier old Hollander Interchange manuals. They cover everything. Check with Hollander, maybe they have a website?

Adumb:

I wanted to go into the used parts (junckyard) business at one time. I've seen everything from sophisticated databases built for cross-referencing to 3x5 index cards.
