My 2007 Cadillac STS 4 didn't come with any mats when i bought the car from the dealer.
Are these Platinum Edition Floor Mats Premium GM Replacement Cashmere OEM any good?

That link should work. Had to get rid of a few spaces. Sorry I can't comment on the actual floormats though.

Hi, I have an 05 STS V8 4 with the same mats. Those look like the right ones!

I don't know if there were specific 'platinum edition' floormats for the STS, but those look to match my non platinum 08 AWD mats.

I purchased a set of floor mats for my car, genuine GM, but they are an upscale version. Granted mine are for a light gray interior, I would expect these are are also available in cashmere. The difference is mine have the Cadillac logo embroidered on them, the edge seems to be finished much better than base and they carpet is quite plush in comparison. Also remember that there is a difference between AWD and RWD version floor mats.

Are they considered "all weather?" I bought a set of black ones with the v logo from the dealer. Cost was just under 170 I believe. Is that basically what you got?

Hi,

Where did you get those genuine GM upscale version mats?
Is there a link you could send me.
Thanks

These aren't really considered "all weather". I have a set of the GM "all weather" mats that are a black rubber. These are in my car most of the time because I don't want to ruin my carpeted mats.

Gotcha. The ones I got from the dealer were not rubber but were called all weather. They're actually not black they're charcoal.

Yes, the carpeted ones are considered an all weather mat, but I don't really look at them that way. With winters of salt and calcium covered roads, they will hold up because of the rubber backing but the carpet won't keeps its appearance as long.

I'll see what I can find out for you. I bought them from my GM dealer who looked them up in their parts system.

From what I can tell (and you should confirm with a dealership), the part number for these mats in Cashmere (All Wheel Drive) is 17800512. You can ask Chris at Rippy (member on the forum). He would be able to confirm this and offers great pricing to forum members.

This weekend i found some brand new 3ft x 3ft square carpet tiles that they use in large corporate building. These type carpet tiles which can be kind of expensive if you have to go out and purchase this grade carpet. Well i measured and cut up some of these thick large 3x3 carpet tiles to fit the demensions of my inside floor in my 2007 sts 4. The color cashmere is mixed into the cool looking pattern on this carpet tile and matches nicely in the interior, but is not solid cashmere in color.

I am very happy with the outcome and think i will keep them in my caddy for a while. If someone can explain to me how to install a picture on this posting i will put one up of my custom mats i made. Many thanks out to everyone that replied to this post.
