I've got a Smokey Mountains plate on the Cadillac, and University of Tennessee Football National Champions tag on my new Silverado. My wife has a University of Tennessee tag on her 4-Runner. Tennessee tags look like crap, so I opted for the speciality plates on my vehicles. Before the new design I had IAMAVOL on my truck and was waiting for VOLBALL or 10ECVOL. Never could tell I'm a Tennessee fan could you.

I was thinking about a vanity plate, but they're much easier to remember than something like 813NCR ... and I cant think of any reason I'd want someone remembering my plate.

At one point, when I used to be a bad kid, I thought about a confusing plate like BPPBBPBP so that it would be hard to remember the plate and report it. Ya know? But then I realized I'd be the only person on the planet with that kind of plate - thus making it easy to find me. :D hehe

How much extra is it to have custom plates made?

In NY if I remember correctly, it was one payment of like 45 dollars, and then an annual payment of liek $15 or something. Not a whole lot of money.

Looks nice but it scares the hell out of me with night driving. Just don't feel safe. To much tint and it looks to ghetto.

Mine in California said CHEASY. Cuz it was a light tan (cheese color) 77 DeVille plus i am from the cheese export country no1 in the world. The grandpa style was pretty cheesy and you had to take it easy with that barge...

My CTS in Germany says HH MM 4422. In Europe we are not that free in customizing. HH stands for Hamburg MM are my initials and 4422 was just the last one available in the MM. But pretty cool to have everything double!
