Got my new headlights installed this week ( only took about 15 minutes - way easier than I thought ). Looking forward to our family 5000 mile road trip starting tomorrow for the month of August. Going to try and keep track to see what mileage I get with the old ESV.

They look great also it is best to replace the bulbs as they dim with age
I had to replace my hid low beams not long after I got my truck with a set from here www.kensun.com 50 bucks for a set of bulbs
FYI the 4300k is the best choice for color to lumen ratio

Looking good!

My family and I just ended a 2 month 6,200 mile road trip. Our ESV had absolutely no problems.

Good luck and have fun!

I didn't know that HID bulbs dim with age. The ones in my '05 are the originals with 100k miles!

We're also planning a 3,400 mile family road trip in August. Hoping all goes well with it!

Yep they are like any other bulb and will dim as they age(you just don't notice it) mine was dim as they only shown maybe 10-12 feet in front of the truck at most now they are 15-20(maybe more)of light path and no I didn't need to re aim them)(30-45 feet with my hid kit in the high beams)

My truck had 123,000 on it when I replaced them
FYI if you use the flash to pass a lot it wear out the hid low beams a LOT quicker then you think
Needless to say it was the best thing I did for my night time driving safety (deer are bad in my area at night)
