I was looking at some various performance chips for the northstar. I find it had that one little chip less than $100 can add 15hp or more in some adds claim. Are these all a scam? They claim to change the fuel air ratio and change the ECM for better fuel air mixture. I am not a believer in most simple mods like this but I thought I would hear your thoughts on here. Anyone ever tried one? Let us know.

I wouldn't do it. There aren't many things you can do to the N* to add power...the factory pcm and programing is exceptional already...exhaust is pretty much the only worthwhile and the favourite power mod on here... ...

You'll get more HP, but you'll never be able to use regular.
