: Mounting a 7" Tablet ??

Hey All,
Has anyone successfully mounted a 7" Tablet in a 09+ CTS? I have been searching for options all week and so far the best seams to be the seat bolt arm mount or something of the like. I am even okay with installing a bracket inside the interior pieces and having it stick out through a gap

I have a high speed OBDII unit and Torque and want to install something that will hold up to track time. The arm mount doesn't look like it would be secure enough while out of the way when the car is full of people.

Thoughts?

I just velcro'd mine to the dash, when I want to remove it, just tear it off.

Aren't you worried about it wrecking the soft-touch parts of the dash? Or where do you have it velcro'd

I took measurements of the bezel that holds the pop up nav display as I was thinking of replacing it with an iPad mimi and unfortunately it is a few mm too big in both directions

Yeah that would be nice. every time I go from my Volt to my Vagon and use the radio/nav system, I feel like I have stepped 10 years in the past.

Look at the Tetrax magnet setup. I have an Xway. Easy to mount anywhere on the dash. I use it for my Galaxy Note 2.

Cool. Does anyone have any photos of where they put a 7" tablet? The dash is pretty packed with crap...

Velcro? Dash? On a cts-v? or your beater car? Last time I checked this was a Cadillac, and one of the greatest cars produced. This thread has got to be a joke. I'd take anyone out who puts feet on my dash. $70k+ car with a velcroed tablet to dash??? Wow.

Sorry, I guess I didn't buy a ctsv that was used and beaten or to treat like a ford mustang.

But it's your car.

Lemme guess, all of your cars you bought used?

is this set up intended for race applications (temporary) or a fixed (fulltime) solution to your problem?
hopefully you live in a low theft zone.
