Nobody out there is interested in a sweet deal and making some power out of their CTS?!

What does the tune entail?

I'm pretty sure this is the first time we have heard about another tune besides the trifecta tune. So we would love some details on it. Gains, dynod? Graph?

Also, please tell me why it's worth $600 for the tune alone? Just to put that into perspective, I paid $720 for a full magnaflow exhaust system.

Man you guys haven't heard about the IPF PowerTune?! We've been selling them for a while now so I guess we have been slipping in our marketing! And no need to worry about the $599 price tag, that was the old pricing! The new tune price is a mere $349!!!

Can you give specific specs on gains for the CTS?

dugunz - I have passed along the message about getting some dyno pulls in so we can get some numbers up. We are working on it and I should have some soon here! Thanks for the interest!

Would a tune do anything for my CTS Coupe with a 6-speed manual trans?

I assume my car would be different than the automatic trans versions?

Hello and greetings from germany !

Today i installed the IPF-Tune from the German-Tuner of the System :

http://www.eds3.eds-motorsport.de/ .

I try a special ( it`s very important that the engine runs not to lean on the german Autobahn ) 98 octan-tune
( no CAI / + 25 PS / 10 % more tourqe ) for my CTS sedan and i love it.

Installation is easy, but a little different to the SCT-Flasher, so please read the instruction !!!

!!! before installation fill your car with the correct fuel and drive some miles with the higher oct. fuel !!!

At the first start the car is louder, it has a more aggressive sound and i dont now why ???
Ok, i like it :) ...and it is a feature : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nu28WAsWE1Y

My first impression is a better response from the gaspedal and you feel the power in every situation,
the car is more agile.

...and now it`s possible to make a burn-out with my V6:bouncy:

I also think the Sport-Mode is now a real Sport-Mode, so try " pedal to the metal "

If your family is on board no problem, if you stroke the pedal the car runs smooth like only a Caddillac can do.

Ok, sorry for my bad english :banghead:

.... and now i try a highspeed-test on a german autobahn :2thumbs:

Best regards from Germany.

EVH5150 - You would gain the same as a person with an automatic CTS. The transmission would not effect the power output, other than a manual put more power to the ground simply due to less drivetrain loss.

Hey Heinz thanks for the review and I hope you enjoy you autobahn cruising! Bring someone along to shoot some video!

Hmmmm, I have the trifecta tune and volant CAI, and vmaxx iceolator, and magnaflow cat back exhaust, I'm curious to know if there is any difference between your tune and the trifecta tune.

I would be willing to be a tester for the forum. Just sayin.

Thanks for the response dude.

I have no experience with tuning a car, if I ordered your tune how do I install it? Do I simply just plug in a module that you send in the mail?

From the website:

The easiest way to add power to your V6 Camaro! 19 RWHP and 22 lb./ft. of torque. In addition drivability is improved tremendously with better low-end response and crisper shifts. Highway fuel mileage is also increased.

EVH5150 - The post that Superbenzin put up explained it in more of a technical way than I would have but it is spot on! I try to dumb it down...for myself! It really is an easy process and you don't need to be an IT specialist to perform the tune! It is an easy process that takes maybe 15 minutes total time! If you have any other questions please shoot me a PM or an email at ben@kpe-products.com and I will get back to you asap!
