I have a 2007 DTS that has sprung a leak with all the rain weve had in Fla its showing up in the trunk passenger side and the spare tire has quite a bit of water as well it s a little damp in the back floor board so im wondering if the water could be getting to my battery, because my key kept getting stuck in the ignition and wouldnt come out so i had my dealership replace the battery which they said was the problem, the first day with the new battery no problem but the second day it stuck again after sitting a couple days it started right up and it released the key but now it will stick once in a while and i cant get it out so i carry two key fobs so i can lock the car has anyone had these problems before please help i cant afford the dealer....

Moved to the proper DTS forum.

The leak in the trunk is probably the rubber seal around the edge of the trunk.
best way to find the leak is get in the trunk with a GOOD flashlight. close the trunk and have someone spray it with a water hose.

The key not turning all the way off may be that linkage going to your transmission is slightly out of adjustment.
Make SURE it is in PARK all the way or the key will not come out.

i also found that when on rare occasion the key does release it is hot but when i let it cool down it will come right out
