Tire Pressure ?

I have a Escalade Esv with the stock 22's My psi is set to 37. My truck was recently in for service and the loaner Escalade's tires were set to 44psi. I noticed a difference in the ride, However my questions is will the tires ware better at 44psi? What do you have your psi at?

Thanks,

Correct tire pressure is listed on the label on the drivers door jamb. Overinflation will cause the center of the tire to wear faster, under inflation will cause the edges of the tires to wear faster.

Correct pressure cold is 35, in the summer heat the tires can easily get in the upper 40 lb range, always check in the morning after not driving for 6 hours. As said the correct pressure is on the drivers door jam
